Just stepped off of the plane in Melbourne. God I love this place.
This plane is packed full of people and they are all quite grumpy. Only 14 hours to go.

It's 58 degrees in LA. Danenberg had to put a sweatshirt on for our walk to the Qantas terminal.
Touched down in LA. Now a layover for a few hours and definitely some beers.
Done with security. Having a Budweiser waiting to board our flight to LA.

Online checkin for Southwest 23 hours and 45 minutes before my flight, and was put into group B. Too many people on the Internets these days
Officially sick just a couple of days shy of my trip. Really hoping I am feeling better by Friday, otherwise this could be a painful trip.

Just got a huge weight pushed out and am feeling incredibly relieved. Now just a handful of things to figure out before I leave the U.S.
In preparation for my trip, just watched an excellent Aussie film: Latana. Highly recommended.
