Hi there, I’m Brian McKinney

Developer, designer, musician, recording engineer. In other words, I like to make things

Counting down the days until the Walnut Valley festival. 48 to be exact.

@astroot - I forgot to tell you. I'll send you an email my experiences on launch day. It was hilarious. And by hilarious I mean awful.

@thecurtain - There is a last.fm app in the app store. I've only been using it for a couple of days, but so far I am really enjoying it.

Last.fm + iPhone = bliss. Any program that suggests 'Jackie Blue' is just all right with me.

Working on highly complex website for a local business. Thank God for Django.

@thecurtain - Steely Dan gets a lot of plays on my turntable as well, they sound amazing on vinyl. Aja is one of my favorite albums.

@thecurtain Ami gave me a turntable a couple of months ago. Since then I've been picking up all of the classics.

Listing to Journey - Infinity on record. I am thinking I need to get back to my city by the bay: [1]

Exxxxccccellent. Exxxxxxxxxcccccellent.

Bidding adieu to @amibrooke and Zoe, then back to business.

Really pissed off at K-State right now.

Back in manhattan. Having lunch with my parents, then back to work.

Just ate at Wheat State Pizza. Loved it. Highly recomended.

In Lawrence visiting @amibrooke and [1] First Free State, then dark knight.

At Willie's with Ken.

Going out for a quick run, then quick dinner, then Willie's.

LIstening to Seals and Crofts while working on a K-State project. The S&C is inspiring me to write some ultra smooth javascript.

Listening to Kiss - Destroyer on record. I think my face is melting off due to the unbelievably hard rock.

Back to javascripting and sitting at my cube.

Watching Wet Hot American Summer

Shopping with @amibrooke at the Manhattan town center.

The iPhone works excellently for looking up the lyrics to the Fresh Prince of Belare.

About to head out to Aggieville

About to head back to manhattan.

Heading down to mass street in Lawrence.

First tweet from my new iPhone. Eggshell white FTW

One more person to go, and I'll be at the front of the line. After 5 hours.

If I get to the front of the line and there are no white iPhone's left, there will be blood.
