Hi there, I’m Brian McKinney

Developer, designer, musician, recording engineer. In other words, I like to make things

@sebleier Heh. Just got this. Hey man, anytime.

"I'm a raging lunatic. I'm an absolute maniac that destroys kids. That's what I do for a living." Man, I love Frank Martin.

Back in Lawrence and doing a bit of programming/design work before the night is through.

Just finished up dinner with friends in Kansas City, heading back to Lawrence in a few.

@worksology Yeah, it was a split second decision, but I had to do it. This kind of opportunity doesn't come around often.

@comma_police Wait, there is still a print version of the paper!? I had no idea. :)

Just bought two contingent tickets to the Final Four. If K-State is fortunate enough to get there, I'll be there too.

@LJWJKealing K-State just played THE game of the tournament, and there isn't even a mention of it on LJ's sports page?

I love how K-State just played THE game of the tournament, and not one mention of it in the LJWorld.

EMAW. I'll be in Manhattan for the next game to cheer on the cats with full blooded Kstaters.

Let's go Butler Bulldogs!

Time is the revelator.

5 hours until game time. Let's do this cats! Every Man A Wildcat.

Today is a purple shirt kind of day. It's also a shirt that says "KU blows" kind of day.

A well rounded night: recording, playing some guitar, writing, and topping it off with some programming/design work. Today was well utilized

Peace Like a River is one deceptively hard song to learn.

@astroot Heh, I had it custom made at Thread. Best $20 I've ever spent.

It's a beautiful day to be working on a patio at the Pig.

@slimfender Oh never mind, looks like K-State changed their policy from when I graduated. I had to pay a $25 *cough* graduation fee.

The @nicoleatkins performance I saw at Austin City Limits: [1] Warning: this music is heartbreakingly beautiful.

Nice! The Onion is now fully powered by Django: [1]

My first workout in a week and a half missed due to SXSW was brutal. Thankfully didn't take too much of a step back.

Wish I was in Manhattan, so I could pick up a new K-State shirt. K-State swag is surprisingly hard to come by in Lawrence.

Anyone who is interested in having their face melted off by blistering hot rock and roll should check out Band of Skulls.

@jcroft EMAW was hanging from the rafters in ahearn firldhouse in the 1950s. Not 100 years old, but no spring chicken either.

@jcroft What about EMAW is more ridiculous than rock chalk?

@bshaurette no worries, just become a Kstate fan. You can still cheer for a team that's in the tourney.
