Hi there, I’m Brian McKinney

Developer, designer, musician, recording engineer. In other words, I like to make things

@jcroft Go to Djangocon. All the cool kids are doing it. :)

Added some smooth® tonight to some @water designs. Much more to go tomorrow, now very tired.

Pushed some serious commits to an upcoming @water project tonight. Feels good to do some legit design work and for a good cause to boot.

@sebleier That sucks. What a lame thing for someone to do.

The Pig! I'm coding there today!

Taking a run up to campus. Ending up my second week of 6 day/week workouts. Feels good to be back in the swing of things.

@duke_sam [1] 250 thing to do in SF before you die. (pdf)

The Pig! I'm at it!

@webology Central National Bank. Money for life.

Is it Pig-time yet? Seriously, at least most of my recent bad days have landed squarely on Pigday.

Whoa. Bummer. Les Paul died.

About to see Green Day at the Sprint Center from an executive box. Billy Joe and I have come full circle ladies and gentlemen.

Thanks to some inspirational pictures from @picholine I will now be moving to Monaco as soon as possible.

@picholine Wow. That photo album is awesome. I'm very jealous. Where were they taken at? I want to go there. :)

There are days and there are days. This one is the latter.

@linercare Whoa. Probably not something you should talk about on Twitter.

Sometimes people do things that I don't understand: [1]

Harbor Lights on a Sunday afternoon. Wilco on the Jukebox, beer in hand, it's a good day to be around.

Purchased Fleetwood Mac's self-titled album from Love Garden yesterday. Such a good record, can't believe it took me so long to pick it up

Out for drinks at the Red Lyon. Not sure where next. Possibly Henrys, possibly louises.

Just finished a run up to campus and back in the 95 degree heat. I can verify that it is indeed warm outside.

Out for some drinks with a couple of friends in town for the weekend. At harbour lights. I have a feeling this may go horribly wrong.

It's funny how one day can change your perspective on things. Suddenly my far off city by the bay seems much closer than I'd have thought.

Today was one of those double whiskey on ice days: [1]

I need a large glass of whiskey with very little ice.
