Hard to believe I'm going to be in Dublin in a week. A lot of things to take care of before then.
Looks like I'll be going to Octoberfest after all: [1]
Forwarding from @dereklarson: : Want to see video of KU's defense today? Look no further... [1]
Wow, Georgia Tech's second stringers looking better than KU's first team.
@worksology You can't just replace a tradition like EMAW. That's stupid.
I blame this—as with most things that are wrong in my life—on @JWoodsoil.
Yeah, @perl5000 I've been every year since 2001 except 2003 when I was living in Australia.
@slimfender Yeah, I'll definitely be there next year. Already looking forward to it.
@slimfender My buddy that sets everything up beforehand is in Alaska and none of my other friends could go.
I'm pretty disappointed that I'm not going to Winfield for the Walnut Valley festival this year. I guess there's always next year...
Forwarding from @jcroft: : Facebook now has Twitter-like "following" functionality. They call it "subscriptions." Yippie.
@mc It's not going to be the same without you around here. But, I'm truly thankful I got the chance to work with you.
@thisphrase The day I eat a chicken salad sandwich is the day you see me throw up in your handbag.
@benspaulding Based on what I saw of your flying abilities, I'd hold onto that job for at least a little while...
@thisphrase If by chicken salad you mean a bunch of mayonnaise slathered chicken...gross.
No offense if any of you are in tribute bands.
Tribute bands are such a weird concept. I think I'd rather do manual labor than make a living by emulating bands that broke up 30 years ago.

If you're going to go, go. Don't talk about how it is someone else's fault for starting it.
I'm pretty tired of hearing Big12 presidents point fingers at other Universities. What happened to accepting responsibility for your actions
@thecurtain Absolutely, I'll take any information I can get. I have about 4 days on the west coast.
@worksology ah, thanks man. Good to know. I'll make sure to move Cork a bit lower on the priority list.
@worksology you lived in Cork right? Is that area worth checking out?
@worksology starting off in Dublin, then traveling to the west coast. May go to Northern Ireland, but not sure yet.
Its official: I'm going to Ireland the first week of October. I'm extremely psyched.
