Hi there, I’m Brian McKinney

Developer, designer, musician, recording engineer. In other words, I like to make things

@davelowe The sound quality according to the stats is so-so. I think they use a VBR, but to my ears it sounds fine.

@nathanborror I downloaded Gemma Hayes’ Hollow of Morning, and The National's Boxer from emusic recently and have been enjoying both.

Celebrating a major recording milestone tonight. Looking forward to finishing this project up and getting it out there.

24 days to Australia. March 6 can't get here soon enough.

@picholine I've really like your drawings. I hope you continue to post them to your website.

@picholine I rediscovered Supertramp recently too. I've been listening to Breakfast in America a lot lately. A very good older album.

Just made a donation to the Red Cross in Australia. If anyone is up for it, help some great people out: [1]

Really bummed about the fires in Victoria, just a terrible tragedy.

Really hoping all of my friends and their families in Australia are doing all right. I just heard about the fires in Victoria.

Listening to Supertramp's Breakfast in America before doing some recording later this afternoon. It's been a good Sunday.

Going out of town yesterday has me way behind on all of my projects for the weekend. A busy Sunday for me for sure.

Big win for K-state on the road versus Texas A&M.

Sitting at Big Nose Kate's drinking beer in Salina on a Saturday afternoon.

OH: Thats not a breadstick, man.

@ericholscher How is Pro Django from the perspective of a Django Pro?

Seeing a comedian is usually not my thing, but I always try to do things that are out of character because it usually ends up being way fun

On my way to Salina to see a stand up comedian.

Had a great run around Snyder stadium. It's a beautiful day outside, this had already been a fantastic weekend.

Dangerously close to an equilibrium between people I follow and people that follow me. Can't help but be intrigued and follow people.

Listening to some Journey on vinyl and taking it smooth.

Really great night at the ville. Met some great people, talked to some old friends, talked about the future with some current friends.

At the Kat house. Ran into Kyler Sheets, bad ass.

@worksology yeah, I had a project come up that definitely called for git, so it's been a good chance to goof around with it.

I'm being called by Aggieville. I must comply.

git installed on server fine, still really clumsy with it. From what I've seen so far it's cool. As a cool as a versioning system can be.

@astroot I hope that pun was intended.

I'm out. Time for the weekend to officially begin.
