Cheers to @worksology for fixing the awful lighting in the office. Jeers to K-State for making me work in a big room that is 80ºF most days
@sabrinaland Nicole Atkins’ Neptune City is an excellent album, be sure to give that a listen. BTW, I dig your music, good stuff.
@ericholscher I like your idea, but my job won't let me out of my cubicle, so maybe saying fuck it and doing it live is the way to go.
@thecurtain Yeah, some great instruments all over the place, but all the good stuff got way out of hand. That was my last instrument auction
The auction ended up being a complete waste of time. Two trolls from Big Dudes music (seriously) were trying to buy everything decent.
@sabrinaland Regarding music suggestions, have you listened to Gemma Hayes, Nicole Atkins and the latest Rachael Yamagata?
Looking for a decent place to stay in Brisbane for the first few nights of my trip. In 31 days I'll be drinking a VB on an Aussie beach.
@jcroft @worksology Thanks for the info on django-pagination, I've got installed and it is incredibly easy to implement. Huge time saver.
@worksology I initially dismissed django-pagination based on the assumption that it was querying the db for all objects, but not so.
Trying to take it a little easy tonight and relax for a bit. Slightly concerned I may be feeling yet another cold coming on.
Just finished watching Kind Hearts and Coronets — a classic British comedy. Alec Guinness plays 8 characters, definitely a huge thumbs up.
Finishing up my night by playing guitar, which I've had more and more time to do recently, and have now realized how much it was missed.
