Hi there, I’m Brian McKinney

Developer, designer, musician, recording engineer. In other words, I like to make things

I think I am being stalked by @adamlott. It is both frightening and strangely titillating.

Watching Twister to relive my recent near death experience.

Almost forgot, I heard a bluegrass style cover of the @benkweller song Wasted and Ready at the Walnut Valley Festival. It was bad ass.

Only 360 days until the next Walnut Valley Festival. Already looking forward to it.

Back in black — at Fortress of Smoothitude [1]

53 beers, 1/2 bottle of Jagermiester, 4 days and 1 incredibly close call later—I'm back in Lawrence.

A funny thing happened to me on the way to Winfield... I was nearly killed.

It's 5:30, I'm alone at a scenic overlook outside of Cottonwood Falls on the way to Winfield. Life is good.

@curiale1 Latest one I saw was highs all weekend around 90º. It's not that bad, just I was hoping for some low 80s.

It's going to be hot as hell for WV Fest. I foresee very little sleep this weekend.

I totally get how, in life, you never know which way the ball is going to go. But damn, I could really use a favorable bounce on this one.

Damn. The forecast for Walnut Valley fest isn't looking too good. The weather doesn't look good either.

Last night, at the bars in Kansas City, a girl told me I was "kind of pretty". Not sure how to take that.

Great win by the Jayhawks today. But just like last week. You've got to remember that it's only one game.

@bailann they only tear down the uprights for huge victories, like if they were to beat Kstate.

My rule regarding people that I have around me: be good or be gone.

Today was worth waking for.

Only 8 days until I'm living it up at the Walnut Valley Festival. Can't believe it's almost here. Going to be epic this year, I promise.

The biggest fish in the river gets that way by never being caught.

Tough loss by the Jayhawks tonight, but it's only the first game. It takes time to build a program.

Nice win today by my Wildcats over a tough UCLA team.

K-State's season opener against UCLA is officially sold out. Looks like it'll be me and 50,000 of my closest friends at the game tomorrow.

Great. My MB Pro is screwed, keeps just turning off by itself whenever the worst possible time comes along.

That brass ring? You know I'm going to go get it.

@akrito I know several people who would refute that.

Every time I start to feel a bit content, I kind of want to kick everyone out, tear everything down and start all over. Just for fun.

@brittdetienne Thanks driving tonight and inviting me out. My first pro baseball experience was great.
